Picture is worth of thousand words, so look at calibration result in one of my clients house.

"Before" results are after his own calibration.  He used supplied microphone.

Improvement was very clear for him and his wife when they played "Saving private Ryan" chapter 2.

Here is another calibration result, this time my own Denon AVR-X7200WA in my living room.
